# GigHive Licenses

## Overview

GigHive is dual-licensed.

## AGPL v3 License

GigHive is available under the [AGPL v3 License](https://www.gnu.org/licenses/agpl-3.0.txt) for:

- personal use
- self-hosted single-instance deployments
- non-commercial or community use

AGPL v3 is open source but protective.

If someone modifies and runs this code on a server to offer a hosted service, they must also release their source code under AGPL v3. You cannot use it to build your own SaaS without sharing back.

## Commercial License

Commercial use requires a separate commercial license agreement.

This includes but is not limited to:

- multi-tenant SaaS hosting of GigHive
- offering GigHive as part of a paid product or service
- integrating GigHive into systems provided to clients as a hosted service
- reselling or redistributing GigHive as a commercial product

Without a commercial license agreement, you may not use GigHive in a multi-tenant, SaaS, or other commercial context that would otherwise trigger AGPL obligations you do not wish to accept.
